• Studied pure math & CS at the University of Michigan.
• Currently a full stack engineer on Google's Core ML team — building an ML platform for tuning, bulk inference, and eval. Designed and built the team's prompting platform. Previously CorpEng, Datacenter SRE, and Gmail.
• I practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
• I've reached B2 proficiency in the German language and have confused many Frenchmen in my attempt to speak their language.
• I'm a fan of drawing and an on-again-off-again guitar player.
• Among my favorite novels are Human Stain by Philip Roth, Catch-22 by Joseph Heller, and Fathers & Sons by Turgenev.
• My favorite non-fiction book is Orthodoxy by G. K. Chesterton, and my favorite essay is “On An Unknown Country” by Hilaire Belloc.
• I like folk music, motown, indie, and some rap. My favorite band is Vulfpeck.
